VHT Introduces Super-Affordable Dumble-Voiced D-Boost
The $60 pedal "makes everything sound better," the company claims.
VHT has announced the D-Boost - a hand-wired boost pedal based on the classic FET circuitry found in Dumble-style amps.
The D-Boost affords users the ability to tweak the FET circuitry with a footswitch and external level control. The design was originally built into Dumble-style amps, and so was previously non-adjustable.
Providing enough boost to significantly overdrive your amp, the D-Boost can also be used to enhance the clarity and detail of acoustic instruments that have a lower signal strength.
The stombox's footswitch boasts an aluminum topper with a surrounding status-indicating blue LED ring. It can be both battery and mains powered, requiring a 9V supply of either.
The D-Boost is available for purchase now for $60. For more information, head to VHT.
