Every year we scour the web guitar stores to find you the best Cyber Weekend Guitar deals. And every year, there's always one that blows our minds.

This year, the award for Maddest – and, to be fair, possibly BEST – Cyber Monday Deal goes to Sweetwater who are offering this Gibson Custom Kirk Hammett 1979 Flying V at a $6000 discount, knocking it down from its original price tag of $14,999 to a – cough! – much more affordable $8,999.

Dunno about you, but I might get two.

To be fair, if you've got the money and you're in the market for replica of the guitar that built trash metal, then it's an amazing deal. Gibson Custom Shop have perfectly replicated Hammett's ‘79 Flying V. Just like the original, this new version features a mahogany body, a three-piece mahogany “V” neck, a beautiful rosewood fingerboard, and a late ’70s Tune-o-matic bridge – and every scrape, scratch, dent, and mod has been included. It also comes with an SKB Flying V case just like Kirk’s original, and a bunch of Hammett/Metallica-themed collectibles.

Gibson Custom Kirk Hammett 1979 Flying V: was US$14,999 now US$8,999 at Sweetwater Sound

Only 200 of these guitars were ever produced worldwide, and Sweetwater is now offering you the opportunity to save $6,000 on the original price. It's a lot but you won’t be able to get one of these guitars any cheaper.

For context, at $8,999, the Kirk Hammett Flying V is now $1,000 cheaper than the Gibson Custom 1958 Korina Flying V at $9,999! It's actually cheaper than other Custom Shop Gibsons AND it's limited to just 200 worldwide.

Sweetwater aren't mad – YOU'RE mad for not buying it.
