Kemper Debuts New Overdrive System
Still in beta, the free Profiler update was inspired by the TS808, Klon Centaur, OD-1, MK1 and more.
Kemper has launched Version 8.0 of its Profiler Operating System, promising with it tones that range from “vintage to raunchy uber-blues to ultra-tight djent.”
Currently in beta, the overdrive system was inspired by classic overdrive pedals, from your OD-1 and SD-1s to your Klon Centaur, King of Tone and Tube Screamers.
The drives are combined into a single "pedal" via an advanced algorithm with added parameters. This allows users to blend sounds and create their own unique tone for any guitar, amp and cabinet combination.
The update also features an OCD-inspired distortion, 20 quick-start presets and improved sound quality.
The new update is free, and you can grab it at kemper-amps.com.
