EVH Extends Wolfgang Standard Exotic Range With Poplar Burl and Laurel Burl Tops
The Eddie Van Halen-inspired line of exotic wood guitars now includes seven options
EVH Wolfgang guitars appear in four distinct series: USA, Special, Standard and Standard Exotic.
At the top of the pricelist is the USA Edward Van Halen Signature ($4,599.99 in Ivory finish) followed by the USA model.
The Special series sits in the $1,099.99 to $1,299.99 price range while the Standard series offers the same style at a more affordable $699.99 to $749.99 (depending on finish.)
Featuring fancy tops, guitars in the Standard Exotic line are similarly priced $749.99 to $799.99 and include several options “for players with distinguished taste.”
Choices currently comprise Ziricote (natural); Midnight Sunset (shaded poplar burl); Spalted Maple (natural); Koa (natural); and Bocote (natural.)
Now, EVH have added two more options to the Standard Exotic range in natural: Poplar Burl and Laurel Burl.
Sophisticated looks aside, EVH Wolfgang Standard Exotic guitars take their cues from Eddie Van Halen's famously souped-up axes.
