Acorn Amplifiers Unveils New F#%k Face Fuzz Pedal
The fuzz stompox's bizarre artwork is based on an infamous 1989 Billy Ripken baseball card.
Acorn Amplifiers' new fuzz pedal is far from your typical fuzz unit, in more ways than one.
For one, there's the name, the F#%k Face. Then, there's its artwork, which sports the image of an infamous 1989 Billy Ripken baseball card, in which the bottom of Ripken's bat was labeled with the same offending words. That'll stand right out on a pedalboard!
Otherwise, the triple-gain stage pedal is based on a Fuzz Face, and features Fuzz and Level controls, plus an on/off true bypass footswitch.
"With an additional gain stage," Acorn says, "The F#%k Face is voiced to retain more full-bodied, usable, and dynamic fuzz tones all along the sweep of the two controls.”
The Acorn Amplifiers F#%k Face fuzz pedal is available now for $139.
