It feels like we've been in a bit of a post-Christmas slump when it comes to great deals on guitar gear. But thankfully the Presidents’ Day weekend is just around the corner, and if you're looking for an early deal Musician’s Friend has jumped the gun this year, giving guitarists some phenomenal savings of up to 40% off a huge range of gear.
Perfect for those looking to get in on the action ahead of time, there’s a swathe of electric, acoustic, and bass guitars available, as well as some select amps and pedals on offer.
Musician’s Friend Presidents’ Day sale: Up to 40% off
With money off a huge selection of guitars and guitar gear, you’ll find plenty of savings in the Musician’s Friend Presidents’ Day sale. We’ve spotted discounts on Gibson, Fender, and Epiphone as well as plenty of other big guitar brands in the sale. It’s well worth a browse even if you don’t have something specific in mind.
Presidents' Day coupon: Use code PRESDAY
If you don’t find anything in the main sale, there are also plenty of coupon deals knocking about. You can get yourself 10% off select items in the $45 to $98 bracket, as well as 15% off items costing $99 or over. Just add a qualifying item to your basket and use the coupon code PRESDAY when you checkout to claim your discount.
I've already had a chance to look through the sale, so I've picked out some of my favorite deals for you. First up is a big one, where you can save a massive $450 on this Gibson Les Paul Traditional Pro V. With an AAA flame top, mahogany body, and push-pull controls you've got a fantastic-looking instrument with plenty of tonal flexibility.
If you're after a stompbox that's a little different from the rest, there's a huge selection of Animals Pedals on sale at the moment. I particularly like the Relaxing Walrus delay, which has got a nice $69 discount, taking it down to just $100. It's a simple thing, but perfect if you want a delay pedal that does a job well with minimal frills.
Finally, for those who switched to an amp modeler over Christmas, the HeadRush FRFR112 MKII has got a nice $50 saving on it at the moment. Designed to amplify your amp modeler for practice and performance, it can work as a cabinet in its own right, or as your own personal stage monitor.
